10 Things I bet you didn't know about me

Most of you are my family or close friends so I'm pretty sure you know quiet a bit about me. So I'm going to dig really deep here and come up with 10 things that I bet you don't know about me. If at the end of this list you haven't learned at least 1 new thing about me then....well I don't know. But I'm pretty sure you are going to learn at least one thing that you didn't know before.

1. I have a pet turtle.

Okay so this is something that most if not all of you know. I have a red eared slider turtle name Myrtle Elaine McCrary (Yes she has middle name). She is my baby girl. I have wanted a pet turtle for as long as I can remember and as soon as we moved into our own place my fiancé bought one for me. She has been a part of my little family ever since. Every year for her birthday in she gets fish and fresh lettuce and she loves it.

2. I have always wanted to be a teacher.

For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a teacher. I remember when I was younger taking the extra copies my teachers had home so I could play school in my room. One time I had taken the papers and scattered them around my room pretending that I was handing them out to my class and my mom walked in and was like "what are you doing?" "playing" "okay well dinners done" lol. I was super embarrassed but i wanted to be a teacher that bad.

3. I am Bi-sexual.

Most of my real friends and close family know this about me but many people dont because dont really talk about it. I feel that unless you are trying to pursue someone in a romantic way, their sexual orientation is none of your buisness. For this exact reason is why many people dont know this about me. When people first find this out about me they usually say "If you bi then why are you marrying a man?" BECAUSE FELICIA, bisexual simply means that i am attracted to both men and woman. It has no restrictions on who I can fall in love with.

4. My music taste is very vast.

I literally listen to all types of music. Rap, county, oldies, R&B, instrumentals etc. This is why my friends never give me the aux in the car. HAHA! We could be going hard listening to Cardi B and childish gambino and they BOOM dolly parton comes on! Honestly I love it that way, but my fiance...not so much. I also am literally always listening to music. Even at work I play music in the background for the kids as they are in centers.

5. I taught myself how to crochet.

So you all know that I love to crochet. I mean I carry a ball of yarn everywhere i go, so that's obviously no secret. But did you know that i taught myself how to crochet? By looking at pictures of projects that other people have made and watching basic tutorials on what i would need to get started, I have accumulated the knowledge i have now. There is a lot about crocheting that i still have yet to learn and im so excited to get there and try new things.

6. Im a bit of a pen snob.

As a teacher i have so many writing utensils that its insane. but when its comes to MY PENS, i am very specific. Right now i am clinging on to these two pens from staples! The satisfaction I get when writing with them over other pen soothes my soul. lol Everyone at work knows they are my pens and to not touch them because i get real crazy over my pens. lol

7. I am a neat freak!

I am almost always cleaning. Even at work, I am always organizing my desk or washing toys or something! Even at home, everything could be clean and neat but if its all not in the right place it feel messy to me. lol I'm sure my fiancé hates it but its me. I haven't always been this way. When I was younger i never cleaned up after myself and my room was always a mess. lol I would much rather be a neat freak then a messy person!

8. I am not a big Disney fan.

Now this isn't to say that i don't like Disney movies, I do. I'm just not as much of a fan as everyone else. There are some people that go to Disney land once a year and have all the movies etc. That is not me. Other than Tarzan and star wars (because it is now owned by Disney) I'm not really into Disney movies.

9. I really enjoy video games.

I would never claim that I am a gamer or anything like that but I am definitely an avid gamer. There are few games that i can play hours on end (like far cry, tomb raider, crash and spyro) but once i find a game I like its over. lol

10. I love SUV's and trucks.

If i could have my way i would have something like a ford F-150 or an expedition. I guess you could say I have like little person complex or something but its true. One of the thins on my list of things to do before I die is to drive a tractor trailer. lol I really like trucks. I don't think i will ever be able to own anything smaller than a minivan lol.
