Fresh off the hook, I have finally finished my first C2C (corner to corner) crochet blanket. I must say, this worked up a lot faster than I thought and I love this type of pattern. I cannot wait to make other designs with this type of pattern. I have so many ideas already! Now that I have gotten my excitement out of the way lets talk about how I made this blanket.
Being that this was my first time making a C2C blanket, I took to the internet to find a tutorial and pattern. There are tons of them out there but the one I found most useful was this one by make and do crew. It has step by step what to do and pictures to go along with it so you know exactly how you should be looking at each step. I chose these colors based on what I had in my stash. I had a crap ton of pink yarn left over from the poppy hats I made a few months ago so I decided to make a girly blanket. But this pattern works with any color combination.
After I had finished the blanket I notices the edges looked a little rough so I decided to add a border. The scalloped boarder make the blanket look "finished". I love the class that it add to the blanket. Let me know what you think? Do you like this blanket? Would you order one?
